The Darfur Canadian Community (DCC) supports Darfurian newcomers, families, youth, and community members in Manitoba through practical guidance, cultural connection, mentorship, referrals, and community-based activities. As a growing grassroots organization, our work focuses on helping families feel connected, supported, and empowered in their new home.

Answer: DCC is a not-for-profit organization that believes in equal rights for all Darfur Canadians. DCC is an inclusive body of ALL those who identify themselves as Darfurian or descendent of Darfur ancestors living in Canada.
Answer: DCC was founded to strengthen the Darfurian-Canadian relationship on all fronts, particularly in the Cultural, Social, developmental, Educational, and Health fields. It does not promote any ideological or political views nor does it support any party affiliation. Member Communities are free from any influence and interference in their affiliations as well as activities.
Answer: DCC actively collaborates with various organizations in Canada and Darfur to enhance the impact of our initiatives. We believe in the power of partnerships to create positive change in our communities.
